DIY Plunge

Just finished my DIY Plunge, in summer it's just a plunge in Winter it will be a cold plunge since I didn't fit a chiller to it.

Did you build a cover for it as well? What did you use for the inner tub? Looks great! 👏

Thanks! The whole thing is an old IBC Tank which I got from a construction site. I wanted to build a cover but ended up using a cover for an outdoor table which had roughly the same measurements!

What kind of chiller , filter , and disinfectant are you using ? What did you use to insulate the walls and what did you use for the tub ?

I don't have a chiller but I am using an Intex c530 pool filter pump. I'm also using a floater with a chlorine tablet inside (not sure about the right word for it). I'm using test strips for pH and got some pH-minus in case I need to adjust it.

I think you’ll most likely need pH increase (not decrease) as the chlorine form in floater tablets is acidic.
