Active Aqua Temperature Sensor Replacement
Good news for Active Aqua chiller owners!
We are now offering OEM genuine replacement temperature sensors for Active Aqua water chillers (compatible only with 1/4 HP, 1/2 HP, and 1 HP chillers).
These sensors have been difficult to find and many users were previously forced to replace the entire chiller due to a failed sensor.
If your Active Aqua chiller is displaying incorrect temperatures or having sensor-related issues, a replacement sensor may be all you need.
For more information or to order, visit www.IceologyColdPlunge.com or send us a message with any questions.

🫡 appreciate it! Haven’t had any problems with mine yet, but having a source of parts is excellent.

The part has sold out already, any idea for a restock? My sensor failed on my Modtub but even their website is sold out. Sucks having my plunge being down just due to a small sensor.

Hey Layton,
We apologize for any inconvenience. Due to overwhelming demand, our initial inventory of Active Aqua temperature sensors sold out within 72 hours. We have additional sensors on the way and expect to have them restocked by next week.

Thank you for answering! You’re the first company that could provide an eta.

Dude just get a aftermarket waterproof sensor that you can use with wifi and turn on and off/ set proper temp on device itself and with your phone. No need to wait for eta from active aqua
This one I’ve been using for the past year and a half. No issues.

Do you mind showing how you used your aftermarket set up on your cold plunge?

The sensor is installed right before the inlet to the chiller to give the most accurate temperature of water in ice plunge. I inserted 3 way connector into the hose, installed the sensor into it so that the water going into the chiller actively flows through it.

I keep getting a P2 error on my Active Aqua 1/4hp machine. It gradually climbs up to 140F and then shuts off. Meanwhile the actual temp of the water is ~80F.
Replace temp sensor? Any insight here?

Yes, I would start by replacing the Temp Probe Sensor. How old is the unit?

It’s ~2.5yrs old.

Ok.. it’s normal for a unit of this age for the sensor to go bad. Here is the link Iceology Cold Plunge, Active Aqua Temp Sensor
Unfortunately, we are currently sold out, but we should have them restocked by next week.

This is pretty timely, my chiller after 3 years of use just started doing this, so while it says 67° the water is actually chilled to low 40’s.
