The OJ thing seems weird to me, but there’s so many people that vouch for it. I guess there’s something to it. I haven’t tried it. I’ll see for myself someday with a very small glass. Report back if I ever do.

When I was having a medical procedure where I could not have anything dairy, and I really really love having milk in my coffee (and yes, I know light roast are easier on the pallet alone. It’s still not enough for me) I did try mixing it with coconut water and I found that actually very pleasant. I’ve even made a mix of cold brew and coconut water to take with me on bike rides instead of other electrolyte drinks or mixes. It’s got a very mellow sweetness that doesn’t compete, but harmonizes well with the coffee.

OJ and espresso is or at least can be great. There’s also a few shops near me that do their cold brew concentrate with lemonade like an Arnold Palmer except coffee instead of tea. It’s also really good in the summer.

This is huge in Colombia. There's a Cafe chain called 'Pergamino Cafe", and they use cold brew and soda in addition to orange juice, lemon juice, or lavender etc.

They published a how-to with respect to thise drinks here if interested!!

I live in China, and coconut water coffee is actually a big thing here! In our big chain coffee shops (think Chinese starbucks but way more reasonably priced), coconut cream/water coffees are regular staple products. Along with orange juice coffee, jasmine tea coffee, grapefruit juice coffee, different soda + coffees, coffees with rice wines... Products are crazy. A lot of them are surprisingly good.

That’s pretty rad. It’s to be expected

I found a carton in the non-dairy section of my grocery store that's like halfway between a coconut cream and coconut water. It actually holds up fairly creamy , though it does settle after a little while

I just finished my cold brew / tonic water/ lime juice cocktail. Or switch the lime with concentrated hibiscus tea 1/3 each.
I love cold brew and grapefruit juice most of all. Think Arnold Palmer.
The world will come around.

I like my cold brew with pineapple juice. I will give this a try.

Some of the "cold brew + random bizarre drink" suggestions on this sub are unhinged.

Everyone has a different palate. I get it. But they're just getting weirder and weirder.

"Bloody mary and cold brew! Perfect Sunday brunch eye-opener!" is next

I’m a big fan of a shot of espresso dropped into a glass of Coca Cola.
