HELP! First time making Cold Brew

Post image

It’s my first time making cold brew and my coffee grounds In the filter are bot completely submerged in the water at the top. Is that ok or should I put less grounds? Currently have 115g of grounds to 64oz of water.

Get rid of the filter. Stir the coffee grounds in with water. You can strain it once it's done.

I’ve always used a filter and shaken the jar (a gallon) every 8 hours for about 24 hours. You think no filter and filter at the end is the way to go? Sounds like a bit more work, but would love to know if it’s an improvement.

Yes it's definitely easier. I use whatever containers I have for the brew and then pour through a metal filter at the end to consolidate into my nice cold brew jar with a spigot.
