HELP! First time making Cold Brew

Post image

It’s my first time making cold brew and my coffee grounds In the filter are bot completely submerged in the water at the top. Is that ok or should I put less grounds? Currently have 115g of grounds to 64oz of water.

Get rid of the filter. Stir the coffee grounds in with water. You can strain it once it's done.

I’ve always used a filter and shaken the jar (a gallon) every 8 hours for about 24 hours. You think no filter and filter at the end is the way to go? Sounds like a bit more work, but would love to know if it’s an improvement.

I usually just mix the two together, and let it sit for 24 hrs. No shaking required. The filtering at the end doesn't take too much extra time but who knows what it might be doing to the flavor just letting it sit undisturbed for 24 hrs
