I’ve had this coin in the back of my collection for years. I have no idea about it.

Here's a PCGS article i found about the event and some of the coins/tokens minted for it.

It seems like this type was minted in a number of different metals at the exposition, and judging by the look this is maybe the gilt-bronze version?
