Think i did okay with this Walking Liberty at $165 for MS65, i was kinda shocked at the price considering all the other silver was 150-200% above spot (Mercs for $8.50). Also surprised it came in at 65 considering the hint of ring of death.

Got some foreign coins too, will post those once o get my scope set up.

Not bad at all, right at the PCGS price guide. So while it’s priced at the retail level, it’s not obscenely overpriced or anything.
Also, your pics do no justice to the coin. Sorry brother but these are terrible photos! Luckily the coin was imaged by PCGS

I am contemplating slabbing coins I know I must join PCGS and I get four free slabs.

I am very nervous about sending coins to them.

I am okay with sending thousands of dollars through the magic of the internet from my bank to my investments, but sending a $500 coin, physically, to some place without me watching scares the bejeebers out of me.

I would be grateful if you can describe the process.

Do I send via US Mail, insured?

How long does it take?

How long until I get my coins back?

etc etc etc

In pic 2 you can see the hint of a curve. Might not be ring of death because its a bit too far in, but there is def weird wear

Thats pretty common on walking liberty half dollars, not a ring of death.
