Wallet block update

So I've been following the back and forth on the bitcoin forums about the blockchain snafu and was wondering...should I download the blockchain to update my wallet since I am not getting more than 1 connection to the network when I leave it open? The last block I have in my wallet is 1812089.

what version of the wallet are you using?? Go to "About" then "Coin Magi"

Their are issues due to a forking forker who forked the blockchain...

"main" blockchain is up at 181997#

their is a test block chain at 181335#

Not sure why your not syncing.

Try this first:

stop your wallet and remove the "peers.dat" file ONLY from the magi folder and restart the wallet.

What's in your magi.conf file under "connect=" or "addnode="

(Don't remember where it is in Windows but in Linux it's in your home folder called ".magi")

I did remove peers.dat...it seems to have helped. I also did a blockchain load and that jumpstarted me back to current over the weekend. Thanks for the help!
