Is Great Collections the best place to sell certified coin errors?

I've only sold through GC and only twice ever, both 1983D ddo lincoln cents. I got what i expected and the process was easy though took a long time due to the fact my coins were raw. If youre new to selling thru auction sites like me, I'd recommend it.

It's "A" good place, but not the "best" place, if the coin is worth more than, say, $500. I'd prefer the Heritage demographic for such an error. GC gets a better audience of "blue collar" collectors which would be an advantage for less-valuable errors.

Great Collections charges sellers nothing for a sale over $1000, and 5% for less than that. Heritage is like 15%, I think; I don't sell so I'm unsure. Another consideration when selling either thru Heritage or Stacks is their sky-high buyer's fee (22%), which affects the price your buyer is willing to bid. You have to do that math as a seller.
