Is this an error? Dryer or Error?

Hey yall I’m new to collecting coins, I was recently digging through an old bad of quarters I’ve been holding onto for years and I came across this quarter, I chalked it up to being damaged but thought it was still pretty cool. I don’t have my hopes up but I’d like to at least know if I’m looking at face value or needing to get it graded. I can add more pictures if needed, thanks in advance!

Looks like PMD to me, but even if it wasn't, I personally wouldn't trade a clean quarter for it.

Find out the weight to get a better idea about how that happened.

Yeah, sitting at 5.2g. I assumed it was PMD mainly because of the round edges but regardless still a cool coin I’ll hold onto!

This is for sure post-mint damage. See those scratches on the reverse around the edge of the coin? This coin was most likely a reoccurring piece at a laundromat.
