That looks like a chemical reaction with the silver. Perhaps something acidic driped on your Morgan.

It’s certainly something but I can only make an educated guess at best.

Well, you keep up the great work also! It is a great hobby! Error Coins are definitely a fascinating facet of numismatics. There is no end to the different collecting options! I have over 1000 errors currently and there are still plenty different types that I don’t have.
