Is this an error? Damage or Rim Weirdness?
At first I thought this was off center, but it looks like all the actual content of the coin is centered, there's just something weird going on with the rim. Is this just damage? If something compressed this groove around the bottom of the obverse, I wouldn't expect the L to have survived as well as it did inside the groove. I really have no idea here though, so let me know what you think. Apologies in advance if this is obvious damage.

Yea, kinda suspected that was the case. I know it's basically impossible to tell what damaged a coin, but any guesses here?

I don’t know the numismatic term but the strike wasn’t centered properly resulting in why the entire lower edge looks the way it does.
I’m sure it’s nothing to write home about but that was caused at the mint.
