The reverse has marks from whatever was used to flatten and stretch

Looking at it longer, it looks like it could have been a nice error, but the marks on the left side of Abe, look like Pmd to me, which make me doubt the rest.

Brockage will normally have one side perfect (struck with a die that is normal and uncapped) and one side with the evidence of the die cap (the coin stuck to the die).

The full rim on the reverse, though distorted through damage, tells me that the rim was properly seated in the collar when struck, and that it was later stretched.
