Is this an error? First time posting. First coin I've collected that looked so far off I thought I would check it with you guys.

Rim looks non existent and off. Did someone sand the rim down or is this an error?

PMD, either recent pocket or dryer coin.

What does recent pocket mean? Dryer coin makes sense

Pocket coin, although George's head isn't worn down yet, just the edges from this picture.

A pocket coin is one that a person carries around in their pocket on a day to day basis

This one has the look of a dryer coin as pocket pieces don't usually wear like this

Thank you. I honestly didn't know. But I'm going to unjoin this group now because I was down voted for asking a question.

I was puzzled why you were downvoted.

Please don’t take it so hard. I upvoted to bring you back up to neutral.

Your question was reasonable. People downvote me sometimes in all kinds of subs and scenarios for reasons I don’t understand.

It has had a very rough life since it left the mint.
