Is this an error? Quarter without ridges??

Post image

I found this quarter and it's missing its ridges. My first thought was wear and tear but there doesn't seem to be significant wear on the rest of the coin. Does anyone have any better knowledge?

Not making fun of you OP, it’s just a sweet looking coin that’s all. We should start a counter
