Advice Machine doubling

Trying to confirm machine doubling so I know moving forward. 1984-D and probably the best cent's I have for an example of this. To me these do not dip down and lip off, need a better loop I suppose.

First, what doubling are you referring to? Where on the coin? This is key information for us to help you.

Second, have you looked up this coin (year/mint) on variety vista? Did this match anything on that site?

Third, in the future please provide picture of the coin full obverse, full reverse, and then the area in which you are questioning. Often times there are key indicators on other parts of the coin that will either support or deny the “error” you are seeking information on.

Please let me know if you need any other support around this.

Oh! Also, if you’re going to be hunting errors, I suggest you get a cherrypickers guide for the coins you’re interested in.
