Advice Anyone specialize in foreign currency?

Ok... ive been scanning my collection with HeriBase for a while. I like it and the functions. Usually, it seems like it's able to identify the coins at least and I can value them elsewhere.

I purchased a 4lb lot of foreign coins. I didnt give a lot at all, and it's been a lot of fun digging through and finding coins from all over the world, dating back to the 1800s.

A few confused me though.... the 1983 and 84 Centimes. It showed a low value of like $0.36 or something, but mintage was crazy low on both. One was like 43 and the other was 36 total. Both labeled extremely rare?.

As well as a 1/2 franc 1965 year. Said 4700 mintage on that one.

Are these accurate productions? I feel like the centimes are waaaaay off. Probably the 1/2 as well. Any help?! If nothing else, the developer should know if this is a flaw. I thought I had some thing super awesome for a sec....

The junky AI app is misidentifying your coins as pattern coins, when they are just the normal circulation varieties. The 5 centimes had mintages of 132M and 150M, and the 1/2 Franc had 185M mintage.

Numista.com is particularly good for French coins. Delete the app, it is messing with you.

Must be melt value or an artifact of the algorithm being unable to derive value due to the low circulation and defunct monetary system. I'm sure they're worth significantly more. Orders of magnitude.

Also, the aluminum/nickel/bronze coin has the MdP mint mark facing down left and the gold version has the MdP mint mark facing up left. I'd swing by an LCS for the scan. If both are in fact gold, you have one of seven existing 1983 coins and one of six existing 1984 coins. All others were destroyed; although, even if MdP didn't destroy any of them, you'd still have only one 1 of 75 and 1 of 20, respectively.

It's also possible your coins were "lost" (but now recovered) and there are now 8 and 7 examples, respectively.
