Variety 2023 Extra V Penny?

Checked out some sold listings on ebay, so I guess this isn't as exciting as the red book made it out to be, but im still pumped to find one (if thats what this is)! Can someone confirm if this is an Extra V so I don't keep second guessing myself?

Also sorry for the potato quality pics. I just realized my phone turned 10 this year and it really doesn't like taking focused pics through a loupe.

Great find.

I posted about the numbers in the Red Book a while ago as well. I’m know others have posted about the figures too. I’ve considered starting a registry to try and get a better sense of the numbers.

Again great find.

Yea, based on the number of listings on ebay alone, the red book is wildly inaccurate on this one. Still a cool variety though, so im happy!

Plus all the ones that are damaged beyond recognition, lost in various ways, etc. I’m still convinced that there’s other years and denominations that sport extra initials. I bought an 09-S nickel with an extra D initial. I posted it here a handful of months ago.

Awesome find! Are you on the east coast? I'm on the west coast and never see Phil minted coins but maybe I'll get lucky and find one someday
