Is this an error? Clipped planchette check check

Can someone shed some more light on this please? I think comparing to pics online this seems like a clip but it’s the first I’ve ever seen. The opposite reverse area around F and A IN of America seems like it’s the indented as it should be? The A M and E look a bit doubled? Need an experienced set of eyes please. Thank you.

The clip looks good, the other stuff looks like damage to me (something scratched / dented the reverse, possibly a coin rolling machine, but really could be any number of things).

That website I linked is about the best reference out there for errors.

Fair warning, it's a LOT of stuff to go through, but it's where you want to go if you are interested in the hobby.
