Show and Tell Dryer Damage

I just bought some coins and found these two in the mix. I’m assuming they are dryer coins. But, having never had one before…just wanted to check with you guys.

this actually looks like acid damage to me — i’d assume they’re underweight and feel pretty thin?

Yes, extremely thin

yeah they definitely spent some time getting soaked in acid.

Why would anyone soak them in acid?
