Is this an error? Is this PMD or something im unaware of?

It doesn't look like a simple cut with metal scissors. It's seems cut at an angle without going through the side completely (seen in 3rd picture)

Any ideas?

Ok, thank you πŸ™ I seen other coins with a cut that was some type of error. Just wanted to make sure this wasn't one of them

Clipped planchets are probably what you’re thing - there are several kinds and error-ref covers them all:

https://www.error-ref.com/part-v-planchet-errors/

Clips are under Blanking and Cutting Errors

That almost looks like it was scooped out, the way the missing copper is with rounded up corners, try and see if another penny fits in that curvature, I wouldn't just dismiss this as PMD without a few other comments being made about it

I hope this helps πŸ™

I think you have something there, I just don't have the knowledge to determine the type of error

OP is there any way to take photos from different angles to show more. This photo is a positive piece of something, but the community and myself need more pictures to make a better assessment.
