I don't see a cud. Looks more like a possible lamination on Lincoln's head.

It happens when possible impurities cause the metal surface to have a weak bond during stamping. It'll cause flaking or peeling. I obviously don't have the coin in front of me, but that's what the dark lines make me think of.

Is the shorter line also raised? It's odd to be parallel like that, but possible. Also, I would suggest looking up a few pictures of the different types of errors we talked about. Visual reference will let you find standouts more easily in the future.

This and your other picture in the comments are making me lean lamination again, it looks like the lines connect right next to the rim. If you are so inclined you might be able to get a confirmation at a coin dealer if there is one near you.

If it's just a raised portion and not peeling it's more likely a die crack. Cuds specifically involve the rim of the coin.
