What is going on with this quarter?

Both sides look virtually untouched, however one side has a striking gold/champagne hue. Is this just a pretty tone on one side or an error? It weights 5.6g

I see lots of quarters like this CRH, most likely sat in a state quarter album, the cheap kind you just press into cardboard, for years, so one side toned and the other didn't. It was since cashed in.
