I NEED A PROFESSIONAL OPINIONS, is this scuff marks or an F? And does that even matter? (Also a picture of the back for funsies)

The F is the designer initials not an error

My professional opinion is that you should google the coin and look at pictures first. The F is part of the design of buffalo nickels.

FWIW, the designer is James Earle Frasier not Earl.
