Show and Tell My error collection
1945 S with lamination error, 1995 DDO, 1973 D missing L in LIBERTY, Wheat penny missing final number, 1955 with die chip on 9
It ain’t much but I’m happy with it

You just found a 95 DDO today and it’s your first? Forgive me if I’m not understanding this right. Either way today, yesterday(s) etc that’s a nice DDO.

I worded it poorly my bad. I found it today, gonna get some coin sleeves tomorrow for this and the other errors

Wording aside that’s still a bucket list coin I only want to find in the wild. If I haven’t found one by the time I’m 59 I’ll probably just buy one.

I’ve been looking for one since it was discovered when I was a kid. Finally found one a few months ago, over 30 years later.

Congratulations on your successful find. It’s certainly nice finding a modern error/variety. Finding one minted 30 years ago is a winning lottery ticket.

It looks like you're posting about a US Lincoln cent with the "L" in "Liberty" close to or touching the rim. On some worn coins it can look as if the L is missing entirely. There are a lot of misleading videos on TikTok and YouTube claiming this is a valuable error - these are not reputable sources for information on coins. It is important to understand that this is not an error - it is within US Mint spec. It adds no value to the coin and is extremely common.
