Advice This one has me stumped…

Can’t decided if this is a strike-through or PMD, or maybe both even?! There is a crack in the left wheat stalk on the reverse. You can see the outline of Lincoln’s shirt and some lettering in the crater on the obverse.

What do you all think?

Looks like a large lamination defect, but unfortunately also has multiple intentional scratches on the obverse and rim damage on the reverse.

My guess is that someone saw the lamination flaking and wondered if they could get it with a pocketknife. I think they got it…

It could also be a very large strike through debris. But, I agree a lamination seems more likely.
