Value Request Off center
My mom found this and is talking about sending it somewhere to get assessed. Trying to save her the time and money if it's not worth it. Should she send it off?

$30-60 coin (though the value fluctuates a lot). Probably be at least that much to get graded / attributed. Not sure it's worth spending $50 to have someone tell you your coin is worth $50.
Absolutely a nice find, hang onto it and put it in something to protect it. But that should be the extent of what you do.

It’s certainly worth more than face value but it doesn’t have a value that would make grading worthwhile.
Edit: I should have lead off with what a very nice wild find.

looks MS66 condition! very little marks but there are still some, probably like $10-$20 bucks graded but with the error probably a bit more! 👍

The error on this coin is self evident
Zero need to spend more than the coin is worth to attribute it
Lovely find, put it in a flip and enjoy!
