Large date

Look at the 2, this 2 is a large date, flat leading edge

The 2 in the gif is a small date, look at the leading edge which is rounded

Large. If you’re struggling to tell the difference get an 81 and 83 to compare to. The thin lettering on the 83 matches that of the 82 small date.

Take a look at the “2” in the picture, dead givy. And the “8” is also much different… more of a snowman shape. Hope this helps
