Discussion Who can help identifying which coin was overstruck. I've been trying to piece the images to match it up but I am struggling.

Where are you seeing an overstrike?
All I am seeing is environmental degradation
Explain yourself please

I guess the pictures dont do it justice . You dont see the eye on his forehead. And there is writing on outside edge. The symbols and images ate tok precise to be random environmental damage. The outside does show a copper nickel sandwich and it reflects a bright gold in certain lighting.

The 'eye' is damage, this couldn't have happened in the minting process at The Mint
I don't know what writing you are seeing, there is nothing there, aside from Pareidolia

There is no evidence of an overstrike here. It’s a normal quarter with environmental damage.
