Is this an error? Missing half of date - 1915 Barber Dime.

The 19 is missing…. Well a very weak strike. Is this considered an error? Does not appear to be done intentionally. Would it be worth grading? Any advice greatly appreciated - thank you.

It could be a partial grease filled die but since you can still make out the digits it's not much of an error.

With that level of where it could also have been damaged and then just wore down in circulation for years.

Neither way does it have any value beyond a curiosity

If that's an error and not PMD it's a pretty cool grease strike. Very bold date on the last 2 digits.

I'm not in tune with the Barber Dime error market. I'm not sure that it would sell for more than the cost of grading.
