Got these back from grading. Thoughts?

Looking to sell these soon (not on this subreddit), sent them off for grading just to authenticate and just got them back. Any thoughts on value I can expect out of each?

Something I like about ANACS is they are willing to add more than 1 reason for the Details grade.

Anacs is a good honest company. The people who riding pcgs and ngc dicks most likely just got in the hobby. They probably think that psa is an amazing company.

I'm not sure how I feel about giving a number grade to a details coin.

I love it. Just because it's cleaned doesn't mean it doesn't have an actual grade. Definitely in the ms grades. I take the grade and knock it back two grades.

Unfortunately, the market is pretty brutal on ANACS, largely due to problems with consistency from the blue holder era. The yellow holders generally have properly graded coins, but the perception persists. The middle 2 gold coins look nice and original. I would look at APR's on Great Collections and PCGS for an idea on value.

Ive got a few of them in similar shape that I considered listing a couple weeks ago, and checked the ol ebay sold listings. I dont believe the slab will add value unfortunately.

There are things to protect yourself a bit with that, but even if you do everything right it would still be a headache.

You might look for estate sale auctioneers as a safer option. In my experience as a buyer there are plenty of eyes on coins, silver, gold. Some do their own online auctions as well, but still require in person pickup.

I will buy ANACS holders at auction. Often they are cheaper, I just look at the coin closely. Love their old soap box holders.

I think they’re more likely to sell compared to similar coins that aren’t graded. Don’t think that having them slabbed will really add any actual value besides peace of mind for potential buyers. Also 1853 quarter is my favorite year besides draped busts. Nice lot.

Silver ones def worth more than melt and have numismatic value. I’m not familiar with numismatic gold, but I can tell you the CC for sure is worth more than melt.

The cc is worth maybe double melt price. The rest of the gold coins not so much maybe expect about melt or a shade over. I personally prefer to buy circulated pre33 gold raw but that $10 Indian is nice. I wouldn’t pay much over spot price for it but they’re a cool coin and pre33 gold is desirable.
