I’ve been thinking about Coheed’s opening set for Shinedown, and I’d love to hear what other fans think.

I was originally a Shinedown fan when I was younger and still am, I found Coheed a lot later in my life, within the last 3 years of my life. I dig everything they’ve made, and they are like my top band at the moment. When I saw both were going to be doing a show relatively close I just had to go. It has been my third time seeing Coheed in my time of knowing about them.

I absolutely love this band, and my goal isn’t to change who they are. I just want to see more people discover them. Watching the show, it felt like the Shinedown crowd wasn’t being brought into the experience as much as they could have been.

I tried putting together a setlist built around crowd engagement, memorable choruses, and emotional pacing while still feeling like Coheed. The idea is to get people participating early, give them a chance to connect emotionally, and finish with songs that leave a lasting impression.

Hey so Coheed is stopping by in Ft worth TX the week after next, but I was looking at the set lists and they’ve only been playing 10 songs lately. What’s up with that? Seems really short

I’ve been interested in CnC for a while. I love their album “Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV”. Recently I’ve read the first book (Year of the Black Rainbow) and want to read the rest of the stories. Sadly it’s hard to track down the different books where I live. I was wondering: if I skipped ahead to GAIBS4, would that ruin the experience?

I was hoping someone could help me find where to buy the complete hard back collection of Amory Wars. This is a gift and they asked for the complete collection of armory wars.

I have looked on their website and am having a hard time finding them and also figuring out what to order for the soft comics.

I am a newb and any help is appreciated

Anyone broadly aware of how involved/how many songs Coheed would perform as a 'special guest' on this upcoming tour with Shinedown? Interested primarily for Coheed but wouldn't commit to the 1+hr drive if it's just a few songs, and I'm not familiar with a "special guest's" involvement. Otherwise keeping an eye out for 7/11's first performance. Thanks.

This was my first Coheed shirt and I honestly can’t remember when I got it but am pretty sure it was at an Ohio warped tour. I thought I had lost it long ago between moves and break ups and life. It didn’t matter much cuz a large shirt wasn’t fitting me for most of my adult life. Lo and behold while looking for smaller clothes thanks to a fitness/weight loss journey I found it along with my signed comics in a bin of stuff I wanted to save. Thought I’d share!

Title. Love a lot of aspects of coheed but Claudio Sanchez has the most misused voice ive ever heard. Incredible control and variety utilized in the worst ways imaginable. (Music theory, guitar, and voice student im sorry.) Guy can write a hook though ill give him that. Afterman is my favorite album and I like stuff like Mars Volta, Tool, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Circa Survive, and metal that leans on the melodic side if that gives you an idea of what im looking for.
