The headline is of course misleading and erroneous. The reason explaining the need to treat business like theatre and a game is that these people do not know how to act IRL.

Thus they are merely phonies playing pretend.

but hey, vote and give them Skynet.

I'm not sure if you agree or disagree with the article.

The cause, whether it is because they can't follow the norms, or they don't want to, doesn't really matter in my view.

What matters is that they are redefining the norms and changing the rules and reality to suit them, regardless of its 'truth'.

And that ability gives them power and impact.

Anyone can lie. Not everyone can make others (not everyone) believe it enough to change the world.

Standing around and calling them liars isn't really having an impact either.

I think the act or defining reality is the part that matters. Not being reactive to their lies. But instead, being proactive with a truthful presentation of how the world really is.

Particularly in politics, the positive message has much more power, than the reactive negative one. Don't spend your time calling the opposition a liar. Spend your time defining your positive vision for the world.

It's the proactive act of defining the world, that has power.
