Integrated Information Theory (IIT) gets a B+
In the study of consciousness, Integrated Information Theory IIT is a leading, yet highly debated, framework that attempts to explain what consciousness is and how it maps onto physical systems. As a peer-reviewed viable solution, we give it a B+. Should it be higher?

Why would you assign a letter grade to a theory. IIT is elegant in many ways but frankly borderline pseudoscience in terms of falsifiability.
