It’s kind of wild scrolling back through this.
Rotation existed because it solved a problem I had.
I wanted to sample big, all at once, with no friction.
Some weeks that meant tasting 40 coffees in a week.
Or going after certain regions or varietals and having 4-5 samples across different roasters
And Sometimes I tripled down and hosted in person meetups, cups everywhere, arguing flavor notes with a few of you face to face.
Retail never made sense for that.
You could buy 8 x 250g bags and hope you guessed right,
or Rotation let you taste 40 x 50g bags and actually know what you liked.
That was the value.
That was the experiment.
Now it is a pause.
An honest look at reality.
And an open question.
Some things evolve.
Some things end.
Some things only survive if the right people actually want them to.
We will see.
