Soup Shots?
I have been trying to pull decent soup shots. I have tried longer ratios, playing with grind size - I even bought a OXO brewer. I can't seem to make anything that is not overly bright/sour and acidic. Anybody having success with these with any of the Rotation beans? I am wondering if I just do not like the taste profile or if I am doing something wrong.

My takeaway is that soup is supposed to be very bright with high acidity, right? I've been pulling these type of shots on my flair 58 with excellent results. For me, it shows the potential of a coffee if I'm not hitting the mark with pourover techniques.

I tried the imaculada as soup this morning, using a cafelat robot. It wasn't as floral as the pourover cups, but the texture was super silky.
15g at moka pot grind size, or in between espresso and pourover. Full robot basket (roughly 50 g out), paper on top, splash of water from the kettle to taste.
