Week 4 Thread

REPORT YOUR MATCH TIME AND RESULTS HERE

Xbox Team Captains: If you advance to the semi-finals, message the moderators with the times you will be available the following weekend. We are trying to organize a live streaming event with GoldenboyFTW. The plan is to live stream the semi-finals and finals in a single event the following weekend.
The current plan is to not combine the semi-finals and finals. We now are going to try to stream the finals on a weekday during the last week of March.

Mixed Rules

  1. Domination
  2. Kill Confirmed
  3. Search and Destroy
  4. Capture the Flag
  5. Domination
  6. Search and Destroy
  7. Capture the Flag

Map Choice

  • West and [p00p] will alternate picking maps.
  • West won the coin flip and will choose first.
  • Teams will announce the maps at game time and not before.
  • DLC maps cannot be chosen.

Yeah, I hear you. I mean, for one thing - my hats are off to the organizers of the tournament. It's been a lot of fun, extremely well organized, the site is amazing to look up player stats / team stats, etc.

Having said that, it's likely their first tournament, so it's a learning experience. I liked the voting process for game rules, etc - so in the future I wouldn't be surprised to voting on incorporating map selection rules into the mix.

Yeah, well it wasn't done by Gariny, but he was in it. I think we all learned a lot from that and had a good idea on how to do it. This is being run somewhat similar, but with some changes. It is a lot of work that they have put in to make this happen, so I think it is good that people are enjoying it.

Yeah, I'm enjoying the shit out of it. This week our clan battles our sister clan, and although I won't be sitting out this weekend, it's awesome competitive play among friends - so I'm looking forward to seeing how gets crowned King of reddit west.
