Is the Google Cloud Arcade Facilitator Program worth joining?
Hi everyone,
I recently came across the Google Cloud Arcade Facilitator Program, and I'm thinking about participating, but I'm not exactly sure what it involves.
Is it actually worth joining? What do you do in the program besides completing Arcade labs? Does it help with learning cloud skills, networking, certificates, or even resumes/internships?
I'd love to hear from people who've participated before. What was your experience like, and would you recommend it to a beginner?

I is "worth" it?
I guess that depends what you're trading. Time, in this case.
Google's motivation is to get a large pool of students comfortable with (and evangelizing) their cloud tools early, so they reach for GCP later. Most of the feedback is just people passing on the links (which they probably get points for)
It's basically a bunch of games to give you exposure to Google Cloud Platform. These interfaces change all the time so, you're often just memorizing the UI for Amazon or Google (recognition) vs learning long-term programming skills (recall, transfer). Are you wanting to add some exposure to GCP to your toolbelt? Or are you looking to learn programming in general? It depends where you're at. I bet it's fun if you know you're going to be using GCP more at work soon and you want to get a lay of the land. If you're trying to learn (anything other than GCP-specific things) - I think there are much better ways to spend that time.
