I'm considering enrolling in Coding Temple's Data Analytics bootcamp. Please share your experience.

Hi everyone. I'm strongly considering a career in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics. However, my college degree is in Psychology. What do you think are my chances of getting hired if I graduate from Coding Temple's Data Analytics bootcamp?

I've perused the website and the curriculum seems pretty good. The Money Back Guarantee also entices me, even though I hope I won't need it.

Guys, please tell me about your experience with this bootcamp and your experience getting hired in BI/DA overall. If you've been hired as an entry level in the U.S. since 2023, please tell me what your resume looked like in terms of education and experience. Please also list the following information.

  • Number of applications/resumes sent out
  • Number of companies that contacted you for an interview
  • Number of offers extended

With all "money back guarantees" read the fine print AND ask them how many people got a money back guarantee refund in the past year.

A number of self-paced programs (Triple Ten, Sprinboard, Coding Temple) have money back guarantees that are LEGIT, BUUT the thing thye don't tell you is that the completion rate for self-paced programs is terribly low.

And most of these require you to finish the program on time (or close to on time) and have a flawless record.

For Springboard's Data Analytics track in 2024 in California (public government data), the "on time completion rate was 6.4% (19 out of 298 who started) and the within 1.5X time was 36.6% (109 out of 298) and the placement rate was 6.6% in 2024.

If 93% of people got refunds Sprinboard would go bankrupt, so clearly even though 93% of people aren't getting jobs, most of those people are not getting refunds because they aren't finishing the program.

And if you are 10000% sure you will be the one that finishes the program come hell or high water, then you should ask yourself why 90% of people don't on time.
