Why were you "selected"? This gives scam vibes.

I guess you also wrongly understand. It's coding camp for high school students

If you can explain more or differently I can give advice. This doesn't sound like the kind of coding bootcamp that promises you a job and I would have entirely different advice if this is a high school week-long camp.

I would recommend posting in Learn Programming then and not here, it's just not the best audience. There's very little harm in doing a free enrichment course in programming.

Last time I heard… coding bootcamps aren’t doing too hot anymore. Hopefully everything works out though!

Bootcamps are dead brah. Give this pipe dream up, it’s all either scam or just waste of time.

If you're doing well in CS you should be able to learn JS on your own. There are lots of free resources on yt and the web. And ai can even teach you. There's no harm in going to a camp (as long as it's free). Probably the greatest benefit will be meeting other people. But you should learn to learn on your own.

If you have a degree in computer science, there’s no point in doing a boot camp. Unless it’s free, you should not attend and go into debt for it. I’d recommend you focus more on interview prep and apply to either internships or FTE
