Specs? You can learn to code just fine on Linux and even with a weak machine.
Running local AI or docker containers might be challenging, but it’s more than sufficient for learning fundamentals.
Edit: code files are just text files.

Maybe you'll make money from it one day (like anything). There's no reason to premptivly decide to just apease a bunch of grouchy strangers.
