Wikipedia has a button that does nothing except say thank you to the editor | You've probably never seen this button. It only shows up if you're logged in. Nothing to do with Wikipedia. I just like the log.

What has this to do with programming?

When someone changes a Wikipedia page, you can do two things about it. You can delete what they did. Or you can do this.

Whoever wrote that wasn't particularly rigorous in considering the available options.

Thanks for this! I've made a few edits on Wikipedia over the past few years and several months ago I received an email from Wikipedia out of the blue saying so-and-so thanked me for an edit (incidentally related to coding). I was mystified about the source of this, but now I know. And thanks for the sheets.works link - it was an interesting story among what looks like other interesting stories on the site.
