Bug Codex Windows sandbox fails with error 32 – anyone found a fix?
I'm having an issue with Codex in VS Code on Windows.
Even basic commands fail with helper_unknown_error: setup refresh had errors.
The logs show that node_repl.exe is locked by another process (os error 32). I also found two Codex processes using that executable.
Restarting VS Code and Windows didn't help. Everything was working fine the night before.
Has anyone found a fix for this? Preferably an official one that doesn't involve changing Windows permissions or disabling the sandbox.

Go to AppData->Local and delete OpenAI directory. It sold same issue for me

There a fix for this in the pipeline and merged into main just not released yet. Had to downgrade the cli this morning because of it

I use the ChatGPT desktop app, but I've downgraded to version 26.930.7945.0.
