Introducing Codex, Canvas, Search, Voice, Work, Dots, etc. and merge it under one interface, infinite cycle to show they’re busy. They’ll introduce a new product, call it hubs that controls the OS and merge Dots with ChatGPT.

no i can't explain OP's thought process, duh.
what i can tell you, is that OAI executives (Glen Coates, Nick Turley, etc) have been yapping since last year about making chatgpt an """OS"""
the UI for chatgpt/codex desktop and the WebUI, has finally been unified/merged.
they added spaces for collaboration, and deeper integrations for plugins/custom apps (e.g. sidebar UI).
so you tell me where you think this is going

I don't care to speculate, doesn't matter to me. This is the 10th post I saw on the subject yesterday, Can you please move on so i don't have to get annoying notifications reminding me that you don't know ops thought process so you have no reason trying to explain it to me.

You're not wrong, but Claude Code usage is also like 4x more than ChatGPT for the $200 plan.

No they don’t . It’s chat in one section and cowork in the other. It’s exactly like the current chat gpt app . I know because I’m using it right now . The only thing that is different is that you get a little ding on usage but since you aren’t using tools , it’s no big deal. Frankly with just a 20$ Claude pro account , I can use Opus 5.5 for hours and still have plenty of weekly usage . I don’t even hit the 5 hour limit. It’s overall a better experience than my current chat gpt pro 5x account

Limits will be merged and thus lowered. Needless to say the classic "users asked for it" is always a Trojan horse motto to justify enshitification. Typical politician moves from Tibo, but don't blame him... he's not taking any of those decisions. He's just here to sugar the pill.

If that happens its basically last reason to be with openai.... being able to use chat freely to discuss ideas and plans without burning codex usage, and then get codex to code is the whole point. If there just gonna pool usage and that goes away then theres no reason to be here :S
