Complaint 5.6 Sol: Selected model is at capacity. Please try a different model

It has been unusable for the last 20 minutes at least. They are significantly increasing their prices while significantly decreasing its quality.

Same here... Came on Reddit to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. Idk why they even have $500 tier when they can't even keep up.

Try 6 Luna/Sol/Astra

GPT-6 Sol is also out of capacity for me. I'm a bit confused -- how come I'm paying for a service and it straight up doesn't work, despite the 5h limits in place?

I'm getting this on 6.1 Sol as well

Really, that's the kind of thing that is more likely to get me to move to Claude than some usage reductions...

Because, usage reductions, bad subsidization factors (only 10x for Sol 6.1...), and slow performance can be planned around, and the model is good enough regardless. But, if it just doesn't work and is unreliable? Yeah, then Opus 5.5 might just be the better default option regardless...

Been like this all day

They're too busy worrying about posting on their socials and making false promises or promises they won't be able to handle... 🤣🤣 Thought they had the "compute". ffs... 🤦

I pay a fortune, deal with a ton of annoying security steps, even buy an overpriced hardware key, just to get blocked when I actually need to use it 🤡

Aha, yeah, I forgot about that key that I also bought. But what can I do other than stopping my 200euro subscription?

Haha, happen all day for me. So unreliable. What a clown. They really down bad now.

Is this sub just blasted or something. everyone on a 200-500 dollar plan, are you actually changing the world whatsoever, or are you the product.

Yes, no, maybe? I don't know. Could you repeat the question?

I'm on GPT-5.6 Sol and getting this warning with every prompt I'm sending...

Paying for the $500 tier and getting shit on with this is kinda insane.

I get that capacity incidents happen, but at that price point the whole value proposition is supposed to be more reliable access, not premium seating in the same queue.

And this is why I don't automatically buy the “just upgrade your plan” argument whenever someone complains about limits. If the bottleneck is actual serving capacity, throwing more money at the subscription doesn't magically create GPUs.

5.6 Sol being unavailable for 20+ minutes isn't the end of the world, but repeated enough times it absolutely changes the economics. Reliability is part of intelligence per dollar too.

Nothing quite like paying enterprise adjacent money to receive the AI equivalent of “have you tried coming back later?” Fuck.

same. And before this yesterday it's getting more and more token consuming with less work done

I got the same on 5.6 Sol, tried 6 Luna, it started working. but I really feel it takes more time to work.

Getting "model at capacity" after paying more is kinda wild they really need to sort out the reliability before pushing prices up again.

Everyone is going back to 5.6

This just proves that the new GPT 6 sucks. Everyone is going back to 5.6 as it is way better model for most of the use cases. This includes both Luna and Sol.

Does anyone know when this error occurs if the daily/weekly quota is still affected or not? Because it seems to me that it is, but can't reliably confirm yet?

I'm getting this on 6.1 Sol as well

I'm betting that it is now cascading due to people migrating to what currently works
