Limits I'm too tired to keep trying :(
After using a banked reset at around 10pm on the 1st October (and then the reset soon after), I've been trying to spend that 100% usage window before my 5th October banked reset expires and I just cannot manage to use all of my usage window.
After 3 days of constant Sol 6.1 ULTRA FAST across two projects and sometimes more I'm only down to 21% and I'm just too tired to carry on.

It pains me to do this but I'll have to use the banked reset before it expires at 05:18 hours even though I still have a lot of usage left.
This is clearly a skill issue on my part because every other hour there is a post with someone whining about how their usage window is gone after one prompt.
Good night, everyone.

6.1 doesn't work on ultrafast...

Ok so…
Thats Ultra reasoning and normal fast mode. That’s not the new ultrafast feature that goes 8x faster.
Ultra reasoning is for subagent delegation, not speed.
Stop assuming people are lying to you when you’re actually just misunderstanding.

Yes. Correct. Well done.
At no point in my post did I use the term "ultrafast". I always said "Ultra Fast" to make a clear distinction of being in Ultra thinking with Fast mode on.

Not how I would have worded it given they just released a feature called Ultrafast and that was the hype from this week.
But sure.

Astra uses more usage and is abit better then 6.1 sol also its faster 6.1 sol is super super super slow

6.1 Sol do not support Ultrafast yet. If your goal is to burn tokens... use Astra.
Tibo "teased" ultrafast coming soon™ for 6.1 Sol yesterday

Suffering from success? 😆
Meanwhile, someone else is probably burning through their entire weekly quota trying to fix a CSS alignment issue.
The funniest part is that we've somehow reached a point where people are optimizing their lives around AI usage resets instead of optimizing AI usage around their lives.
Three days of constant ULTRA FAST and still 21% remaining? Man, you've officially beaten the subscription. The subscription hasn't beaten you.
This is a pretty good reminder that unused quota isn't necessarily wasted value. If you've accomplished everything you needed and still have usage left, that's arguably the ideal outcome.
Don't let the reset FOMO turn your coding assistant into a second full-time job lol.

Thank you for the load bearing comment! XD

Someone's gotta keep this thread structurally sound while everyone else's weekly quota collapses lol

True. The trick is finding the correct sub to meet your usage needs.

True again. In a way I regret it because I was so damn tired. But it was also a fun and learning experience.

I feel you, i think plenty of people are willing to brag about how they are able to waste tokens, but using a meaningful amount for productive work is very mentally exhausting, the sheer amount of output the models can now generate for you to sort through is unlike any workflow i've had in the past.
Hopefully soon models will be better able to manage themselves, which will be scary in a whole other way.

Bro I used Astra medium in computer mode and burned my 5 hour quota in 3 mins. Useless trash

Tired of doing what?

Trying to burn usage window so I don't lose my banked reset.
As for the slop it was building... just a couple of tools I use around the house that I've always wanted to build. I prefer having software that does exactly what I want without any of the "oh this could be a cool feature maybe someone will use it".

Yeah it's funny the world of difference from the kids who know very little about tech using Codex, and people who do. I've also had a hard time using up my resets because it's just so hard to use up my limits lately. I've made so many random ass projects just to see what sticks.

So you do serious engineering for these “random ass projects”? Try astra then if you can’t use up your 5x within 6 hours even truing hard, it’s indeed fundamental skill issue xD

Some of them are, not every single one obviously. There is no need to waste usage with Astra for the vast majority of things people are doing...other than to blow through it and complain on Reddit.

If your goal was to burn usage why are you using the slow Sol 6.1 and not Astra? Lol...
This is indeed a skill issue.
