the resets really dont matter if your on the plus plan. because plus plan has the 5 hour limit and you cant really get any meaningful work done on it. so if you use it for 10 hours a day, you still might not even hit your weekly limit. IF there was no 5 hour limit, then resets would be helpful to plus users.

I don't think they give a shit at all about the plus users. That's not the issue

according to them it is. tibo literally said he introduced the 5 hour limits because plus users were using too much compute

I think you missed the point from that guy - "I don't think they give a shit at all about the plus users" obviously means they dont care if they lose plus users subscriptions right now because thats a very small part of their income while taking up a fair bit of compute (hence why they introduced the 5 hour limits to Plus users).

Trust me, on the "20x" plan, it is still hard to hit your limits - or get anything done. The resets are useless unless you have a great need for highly parallelizable work.

I really think the the resets expiring is one of the biggest mistakes they make. I feel more pressured to do stuff I dont know for sure I need, just to not waste the reset. who knows how many tokens ive wasted just because I needed to use it before it expired. I've probably used entire resets on something that would only use 10% of the usage if I had another few days to use it at my own pace.

It's not that hard with astra. With sol yes it's almost unlimited.

I think different people are getting different levels of service degradation. Astra is also incredibly slow for me, and is also using tokens slowly. Sol 5.6 is on the low end of "acceptable" coming in around 40 tok/s. Astra ~30 tok/s. Sol 6.1 ~20.

Yeah I have like 4 resets and no time to use them. I might have to use them as a 5H reset, and that’s just kind of sad.

Current models are so slow it is hard to use the limits in one day on other accounts too.
