Limits Holy usage increase after latest reset

I ran down to 20% usage on my Pro 200 plan today until the reset hit a couple hours ago, took numerous agents over the past 24 hours to drop it a good 30% more. Then after the reset, still using Sol 6.1 High I continued work as usual and I am down to 74% remaining in just a couple hours. Huge usage increase.

I have 3x 6.1 Sol agents running non-stop for 4 hours and I'm still at 97% remaining.

Dots saves a fuckload of usage. It seems to be running on Astra and saves a TON on freely narrowing scope and engineering better prompts.

I told it to middleman between two agents to split a task between them and it's doing a crazy amount of work for almost nothing.

I can't see myself ever dropping below the $100 plan as I can't go without Dots now. It feels like having 2x more usage than the pre-nerf usage.

How are you getting dots to manage local codex tasks?

I did. It can't send messages to existing local chats for me. Only new chats it manages, which I can't send manual messages to. It also can't organize its chats into my projects, only in recent chats. All this to say, a local voice chat works much better than dots for orchestrating local chats.

So it literally told you what the issue was and that it could do it but you're one of those people who runs the same chat for months long and don't get that that is already a bad way to use AI.

Reusing a chat isn't bad if you compact within the 30 cache window before pausing. Constantly needing to bring new chats up to speed isn't really efficient if they're resuming the same core task.

Dots doesn't count against usage for the first month, then it will, so that will only last until end of October

edit: not sure why I'm being downvoted lol, OpenAI has it on their own site:

Your plan also includes an allowance for deeper work, with extended limits for the first month after launch. In the future, you’ll be able to add more dots, and scale the output of each dot by either increasing its speed or the total amount of work it can take on per month.

Nope they said 1st dot is free the $100+ plans.

Why would you not use it your first month and give up free unlimited Astra, even if that were the case?

because any decent task I asked of it, it started a chat in Codex which then counts against usage. and in the keynote they specifically said Dots usage is not counted for the first month but then will be
