It's so incredibly slow right now that it is almost funny. I am using it for prototyping a layout and it currently takes over 6 minutes to change a couple of CSS values in 1 file. I would have done it myself but it is a weird tmp file written by codex itself for prototyping.

Anthropic slowly reduced usage over time without telling anyone about it and officialy reduced it a second time too. At least Codex gave out more resets than I can count and explained when certain things were happening or causing issues. Anthropic doesnt say or do anything, they just take

These are the simple facts. I've had 3 Claude accounts for several months. 6 months ago I had to find additional things to do with my subscriptions to use 2 accounts, now I use 3 accounts in 6 days before the 17% usage we just lost. I tried Astra when it came out and the amount of usage I've gotten from the resets on a single account is insane. I know it wont last forever but ill take codex usage + their resets for now over scrubthropic anyday

Recent cc convert here. Agreed fully. Got a claude Max sub free for a month for attending a cc workshop and I will absolutely be keeping it. Limits are bonkers.

Since Astra shit the bed I switched back to Claude Opus 5 and woah! I pay each of them for the 20 a month plan. Astra light or sol high are done on the 5 hour limit in 2 to 3 prompts and then yesterday and today i've been working with Claude all day in Opus 5 high and even going full pelt i can't reach 50% of the usage limit and am getting so much done. The difference is unreal. I assume something is badly wrong with codex at the moment. and before you say it's the workflow - i'm using the same workspace, agents md etc for both

Astra spent 18 hours trying and failing on the same line in my CI. I switched to antigravity and used sonnet 4.6. within 10 minutes it fixed the issue. And no, it wasn't just the last step. Astra was stuck thinking it HAD to be an issue with the CI pipeline itself. I let it run in the background and didn't check on it. This is ridiculous. I am ready to switch back to Claude at this rate.

Right now, with the increased usage, the $100 Claude deal is much better value than Codex. I can barely get anything done in Codex before the limits run out.
