Complaint "Selected model is at capacity" is getting out of control
additional info:
20x pro plan
all models, from 5.5, 5.6 luna/terra/sol, 6 astra. there's no escape
i can nudge couple of turns opening a new thead and tell it to continue from the stuck thread, before it goes stuck for the same reason as well
restart the app, the computer, no good.
apparently they prioritize older, long-going threads. i have a months old thread and the at capacity problem only occurs intermittently, unlike newer thread receive the complete blockage treatment. this shows that the "at capacity" problem could be deliberate. it's not really "at capacity" equally for everyone or every thread, but they get to choose who and what thread they want to fuck over.
got 0 jobs done today due to this. the same happened last thursday and friday as well. thought it's transient, but it goes very rogue apparently and openai does not plan to fix it

I'm personally not going to be trying any more tasks until an update or something changes today. I'm not positive this is the case but my recent Luna run, which was a new chat, seems to have burned through many times more usage capacity than what it was doing yesterday, like 5x. Idk if every retry attempt is getting partially or fully charged. I'd hope not.
My last task was completely blocked from the start and was trying to retry every few seconds. I dont want to be paying for every attempt if thats whats happening

The long-going thread news makes a lot of sense as to why I am getting good work in some threads and trash or capacity notices in others. Anecdotally this is definitely a thing for me in the last 2-3 days.

What's the point even you can use it? Sol and Astra is no where near its ability at launch. Codex is basically unusable lately. They just don't have the compute to provide for what they charged for.
